Quick 30-second look.

1)  Did you build the site with the table border set to one?  Such as 
<.table border="1">?  You can eliminate many problems with tables if during 
construction you turn the border on and off just to check.

2)  You forgot to add table attributes.

Try this for the first table:  <.table border="0" cellpadding="0" 
cellspacing="0" width="100%">  (Remove the full stop ahead of the word 
table.  It is inserted here so it doesn't screw up HTML email readers.)

3)  The second page is laid out without tables, but relying strictly on CSS 
for design placement.  CSS acts differently in different browsers, as well 
as different version of the same browser.  Until this settles sometime in 
the distant future, consider using table for all layout on pages.
