Anna,

It appears that you have the border in the wrong selector. Try putting it 
in the div.grey selector like so:

div.grey /* sets colors for left column */
     { background-color: #CCCCCC;
       color: #000000;
       border: 1px solid red;} /* trial hack for Netscape 6 */

That's the one that needed the border
