If I'm understanding the question correctly, set a variable and pass a 
value with that variable.  Only if that condition is met, do you display 
the include.  I can't tell you how to do that with PHP, as my PHP is way 
too rusty, but in WebDNA it would be something like:

[showif [showinclude]=T] [!]-- if variable equals T --[/!]
      [include file=includedfile.inc] [!]-- call to the include --[/!]
[/showif]

a href=samepage.html?showinclude=T> click here to see the include! </a
