This is actually something I have tried to talk them into doing. One
of the folks in the department is (I believe) trying to push this
through. I suppose maybe I should consider doing this myself, and
setting up an agreement with them to host at least part of their site
(the part that needs to actually interact with anyone) if not the
whole darn thing.

I suppose I did sort of know the answer to my question already, but I
guess i was hoping for an off-chance idea. <shrug>  :)
