site freezes computer with Netscape 7.x

Help!! I finally upgraded my version of Netscape, only to find it freezing 
when I try to look at one of my own websites. I've switch to Opera for 
browsing and it handles the site without problems. The site was last worked 
on back in 2001 so I really should consider redoing it but it's like the 
cobbler's kids -- who ever gets around to working on their own sites?! The 
splash page works fine, but the others freak. Sometimes it doesn't lock 
things up until you try to scroll, if that's any help. Thanks for any
