Would any one mind look at this site and giving me a critique on it, it
doesn't need to be long ?

Terry,
As long as you don't mind something quick ... I like the concept as a
personal website. The navigation menu area is distinct and is well
balanced.

As with most works in progress there are some areas that could be
improved upon. The thing that stands out most for me (working from home
today) is that the page graphics take a long time to load over my dialup
connection. You might try using .gif's instead of .jpeg's and then
compressing them. You'll want to avoid the distortion that happens when
compressing some areas of jpeg files.

I took a glance at the html code and counted five document heads. This
is probably a result of the ShoeString's PictureDicer software you seem
to be using.

It might be worthwhile to delve into some html tutorials and trying your
hand at writing the html manually on this site. Personally, I rather
enjoy the challenges and nuances of html and css. There are also people
on various lists who can help you out if you have questions with this or
point you to other resources.

As always, some things will be easier to fix than others. Make your
improvements a step at a time, and eventually you'll get it where you
want it to be. And of course, asking for critiques and feedback is a one
of the most important steps of making improvement. You've got a good
start here, and I hope you continue to work on this site. Let us know
when you're ready for another review.
