Hello,

Depending on what version of Netscape you have, you can go to the =
users\username directory under the netscape directory, find the prefs.js =
file and find this line:

user_pref("browser.wfe.ignore_def_check", true);

Change the true to false, save it and start your browser. =20

Worked for me on 4.5 and above.=20

I was recommended to upgrade my MSIE to 5.5 for security reasons, because
it fixes a problem in Outlook and Outlook Express. Now It has turned =
itself
into
my default browser, and I can't get it to change. Used to I could go in =
and
tell it
to ask me if it is the default, and if I said Yes... then Netscape would
come on
and ask me to. Now I can't get either to ask. And I have unchecked and
checked
the MSIE box telling it to ask. Anyone familiar with version 5.5 know how
to get
it to ask me again? or know how to get Netscape to ask? I have not
upgraded Netscape
simply because from what I hear it is a bit buggy. Am I going to have to
upgrade it
to get it to be default?

Sincerely,

Nancy Whittley
