Password protection

Hi folks!

My boss has asked that I look in to purchasing some type of software 
security for a section of our web site.  I have tried GateKeeper, 
which seems to be working fine, but the perception is that if it was 
free, it isn't good enough.  Any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know about web sites that appear different to 
different users, depending on their log on?  I remember this as a 
feature of Cold Fusion.  Any comments?
