RE: Entire site in Flash?

General consensus? Hee hee, hoo ha!! Hoo hoo ho ha! But seriously folks...

I think (therefor I am?) that Flash is one of the most intriguing web design
and media presentation technologies out there. The most impressive sites I
have ever visited on the net were using Flash to some degree.

I can not tell you that I know an awful lot about the software or the
technology (and if it's anything like Macromedia's other products I am sure
that the learning curve is steep!) but in my opinion as a site designer and
web page surfer, Flash is compelling.

What I don't know is if it's even possible to design an entire site in
"Flash." I thought it was a content creation tool used in conjunction with
some sort of HTML editor. (Guess I'll waste a few minutes and surf over to
Macromedia's site and find out a bit more about the product.)

Flash lends elements of design and animation to web pages that I don't know
of any other way to create. The latest iterations of the product seem to be
relatively "bandwidth friendly" in that the sites I see download and run
fairly quickly.

Summation? I think it's a great tool (if the end results are a guide) and
don't see why it wouldn't be a good idea to do an entirely "flashed" site.
(Quick, everybody moon your monitor!)
