ADMIN: Personal attacks and flaming

Good evening all,

It has come to my attention that over the past couple of days the
discussions have tended to degenerate into flames and personal attacks on
individuals.

I realise that the "theory" of web design is obviously going to involve
opinions and that debate can get heated at times.  That does not excuse
personal attacks and flames.  Such behavior is not appropriate for
HWG-Theory, nor any Guild list for that matter.  Deliberately abusing the
list in that way can result in permanent removal from the list(s).

My thanks to Alan (aka the Wise One) and Spanky for their sensible approach
in trying to restore some order.

Let us now resume our discussion of the why's and why not's of website design.
