No question that most sets these days come cable-ready. However, GI still
expects to distribute upwards of 10 million cable boxes in 1999, mostly for
digital and pay per view services not supported by many 1998 TV sets. 

Granted, that's a small percentage of the total number of TVs in use--but
it's quite a large number relative to current Web users, and many times
more than are expected to buy a separate WebTV box in 1999.

I also agree with your projection that most TVs will come broadband ready
within a few years; I was just looking at the 1999 projections.
