In the case of the example given here -- I think it could work
if the 'splash page' were what loaded in the content frame (with
the navigation around it), with a click-through to the table of
contents. As it is, I have to click through too many pages to
get to what I want to read!
(Sorry to use you as an example, Jeffrey -- but it's all meant
constructively!)
