Well, you do have somewhat of a point. Nobody wants to restrict
the free expression of the web, least of all me; if someone wants
to put up a web page that's "PURE CRRRRRAP", hey, that's their
choice.

However, I think that it's more than appropriate on list such as
this one -- hwg-theory -- to discuss issues such as _how to design
well_. I'd love to talk to all the people who produce the poor pages,
and tell them how they can _enhance_ their free expression, by designing
their pages well, in a usable and accessible manner.

Education is important. If someone knows the difference between
workable designs and generally unworkable ones, and chooses to make
a poorly made website for whatever reasons of "free expressions",
that's fine. However, if they're making bad pages simply because
they don't know any better, or haven't stopped to consider the
implications of their actions, those are the people I want to sit
down and have a talk with.

I -suppose- there -must- be people who are deliberately trying to
express the message "I CAN'T DESIGN PAGES THAT AREN'T CRRRRRAP",
but I hope I never have to work with them...
