Yes, I believe that you are :)
Accessibility is partly a marketing issue, about not 'locking anyone
out' - everyone, after all, is a potential 'customer'. But it is also
about backwards and forwards compatibility, about writing one version of
a web site (rather than several) that everyone, no matter how old or new
their Internet device / OS / computer hardware, will be able to access
in some way or other. It is the future of the web, no less!

Wrong! It *is* this, of course, but not entirely. What about WAP? etc.
