I've dropped my AoL, so I can't test this... but try a combo of
<A HREF="http://junk-mail.com/">http://junk-mail.com/ </A>
I've inserted the < and > in place of less-than, and greater-than
symbols.

Looking at these with AOL, Tim's show me a hyperlink (in his original post,
but not when he's quoted in another post), Brian's does not.
Just thought I'd share!
