On any good WYSIWYG (or even any good HTML) program, you need to open (or
import) the whole website.
This is necessary because the program will manage any changes you make to
your links and correct them on all of your pages at once.
Suppose you move "this.gif" from the "images" folder to the "buttons"
folder. A good program will update all of the links on all of the pages that
reference "this.gif"
This is why site management programs are so important.

Okay - at this point I can't resist. I haven't seen anyone mention
AceExpert. It is relatively inexpensive (around $40) and seems to have it
all. Mouseovers, and other Javascripts, allows multiple files open, great
tool bars, html checking, spell check (of course) a builtin FTP program,
list and table wizards, works great! Also, can browse your work in NN or
IE.
For a free quick and dirty change I use Leech FTP - freeware that is an FTP
utility but one in which you can edit and/or hand code entier pages. Has
anyone else tried ACE?
What I would be interested in is a good WYSIWYG program. I tried Tarantula
and liked its performance, but couldn't open anything but trantula created
files. Obviously a HUGE drawback. Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Kass
