I am wondering if the difference is not in how the HTML is interpreted but
in the browser settings. Both browsers can be set to either display or not
display underlining for links. I have my Netscape set to not show the
underline and IE to show the underline so that I can see how pages look
either way. Have you set IE to not show the underscore?
