The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /file.php

Hi,

ERROR: The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /file.php

I'm not sure if this is 100% on-topic here, but this seems to be a
common error, however, all searches on Google provided many questions
about it, but no answers. If someone could point me in the right
direction it would be appreciated.

Basically I have an input file with ...<METHOD="post" ACTION="file.php"
TARGET="_blank"> which sends the contents to a php file to be displayed
on a separate page.
