Disappearing Text in NN

I've been lurking on this mailing list for awhile, but this is my first
post, so bear with me...

I'm working on a page for an HTML assignment, and I'm having trouble with
disappearing text in NN 4.6.  The page validated just fine on W3C, and it
looks fine on IE 5.  I'm attempting to use CSS within the page, and I'm sure
that has something to do with it.  Anyway, about halfway down the page (in
the middle of my form), the text disappears.  I have hardly any hair left
after trying to figure this out, and was hoping that some of you could help
me.
