i believe you need to just type in the URL by itself. But I could be wrong.
Give it a try...

Subject: need help- AOL url link from ASP
Need help with this.
I need a url to be hyperlinked in AOL email from a Refer-A-Friend for thats
written in ASP.
Have tried everything, and cant get this to be an active url for AOL users.
MessageText = SenderName & " (" & SenderEmail & ") wants to tell you about
the site: http://www.clownmagicnyc.com/" & vbCrLf & vbCrLf
Will not display in AOL email as a hyperlink..
Tried this:
MessageText = SenderName & " (" & SenderEmail & ") wants to tell you about
the site: <a
href='http://www.clownmagicnyc.com/'>http://www.clownmagicnyc.com</a><p>" &
vbCrLf & vbCrLf
It does do a hyperlink, but it adds an extra http, and it tries to render
the ' instead of "
Also tried:
Mailer.ContentType = "text/html"
but that didnt help either.
Please help if you can- please email me directly.
Thanks,
Carla
