Not sure what level question this is, so I'm asking two hwg lists ...

I need to find info (a simple chart/table would suffice) comparing the =
more
common (old and newer) browsers, and which HTML versions they support.

Please note that I need more specific info than just "3.2 or 4.0" ... =
e.g.,
there's HTML 4.0, HTML 4.0 Transitional, HTML 4.0 Frameset, and so on. =
(This
regards the DOCTYPE specification, in case that helps.)

I've hunted the Web for nearly an hour and haven't come up with a clear =
concise
presentation of this info.
