OT? Opera: Opinions

So it seems that everytime I read something, I see Opera somehow mentioned
(I'm downloading the trial now, in the background).

With NN4.x becoming more annoying to deal with everyday and many looking for
an alternative to IE5 (A lot of times, just because its MS), why do they
charge?

I myself would prefer not to use IE, but it just seems easier to browse with
and more and more sites look better in it (even those ostensibly designed
for "both"). I know that where I work they are becoming increasingly
frustrated with NN.

Any thoughts, opinions?
