2D Table Borders In NN?by "Ben @ TheNetZone" <kingben(at)bigfoot.com> |
|
IE renders table borders in 2D when you specify a bordercolor and border width. NN however renders the borders in a 3D effect which looks ugly and chunky. I cannot use bordercolordark and bordercolorlight as the same colour value to eliminate this as it is not supported by Netscape (yet - roll on v5). I don't really want to do it in CSS because I have negated tables in my style sheets because they are used widely throughout the site, without the need for global changes. My css file is cluttered with ids and class unique alphanumeric identifiers anyway - so giving properties to tables would be even more confusing! Any ideas? I solved my problem about tables going mad in Netscape BTW. Thanks for that! Thankyou in advance.
