This is my first posting to the list and I must say I have learned much.
However I must comment regarding the following:

	If you are already using Office 97, then there really isn't much need to
	upgrade to 2000. The differences I have found are mostly cosmetic. This is
	just another scam to pad Bill's pocket - just like Windows 98.

If you are a developer, and I assume we all are on at least a hobby level,
then there are some major changes.  In the developer the entire package is
modular which allows you to build custom solutions based on the existing
code.  For example you can build an access solution for a client burn it to
a disk and then install it on the client's machine without  access installed
on the client's pc due to the modularity of the access runtime.
