txt/html conversion

Hi to all,

I am a relative newbie to HTML but I have been enjoying this list for a
while now.

I could use some advice on the following.

I am currently building a genealogical site which should include a
familytree of over a hunderd pages. These pages are in text or even wp
format. But I don't feel like converting them by hand so does anyone know of
conversion software to convert from txt/wp to html. I have used the WP Corel
suite converter --- ugleeeeeeeee...
I would like to use the names in the tree as cross links and I would like to
add a search function, but for this I need efficient conversion first. The
tree can be viewed at http://members.tripodnet.nl/poelgeest under
genealogische publicatie (sorry, mostly Dutch).
