need a search engine

Hi
I need to put a search engine on my clients website.
The site contains  quite a bit of content and  is made up of about 25 pages
right now.  It's mostly a catalog of titles
    Do you know of or have any html, JavaScript, or pearl code or any code
that might be useful here, that
I may have or find for this use?
