Why not let the W3C decide for you? XHTML requires lower case tag names and
attributes, and that all attributes be quoted.

The nice thing about Recommendations is that they give us guidelines that
supercede our personal opinions, allowing us to move toward standardized
display rules.

Hello List!

I remember some threads in the past that dealt with the issue of using
upper or lower case for HTML tags. One argument stated that lower case
letters make the file smaller...or something along those lines. Well, a
character is 8 bits, no matter what, right?

So, is there a general consensus on the list as to which is better.
Opinions?

Also, what is the general feeling on using quotes around attributes in
tags? I know that they are required for writing JavaScript, but what about
HTML?

Just curious...I have switched all of my documents back and forth about 3
times, and I'd sure like to settle on one or the other.

TIA,

Mike
