.ins Files and datasrc attributeby "Ben Bradley UK" <bradley(at)mudmail.co.uk> |

I am trying to offer free dialup access on my website and become more of a content provider. BUT, i am having trouble creating the .ins file. I was sent the basic file as part of a reseller deal but I want to change some things in it. Firstly, are the Quick_Link_X (where X is the number) Are they the links that appear in the favourites of IE (I bet this totally excludes NN doesn't it!)? Can I change the following? --snip-- Quick_Link_1_Name=Customize Links.url Quick_Link_1=http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&pver=5.0&ar=CLi nks Quick_Link_3_Name = Windows.URL Quick_Link_3=http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&ar=windows --snip-- Also, can I change the Search_Page and Help_Page settings to those of my own? ______________________________________________________________________ And my second question is: What does the datasrc attribute do? I understand it is the url of a file (.txt?) where the content of say <.marquee will be pulled in from. Is it present in any other elements and does it: a) actually work, and b) work in IE or NN? ______________________________________________________________________ Thanks in advance.
