javascript

I am confused on something. My site is using a javascript to display the
date the page was last modified. No matter when I visit the page, it always
shows the current date, when I know I have not modified the site in a few
days.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
Could it have something to do with it being on Geocities?

Please send responses directly to me. I only get the digest version of this
list.
