Hi everyone,
I have a very basic question about 'mailto:' links that I've been wondering
about for some time and am now just getting around to inquiring. It is
common practice for me to create a 'mailto:' link with the link being the
content of the sentence and not the address itself. On many websites I see
that the address is the link. For example:
Questions or comments should be directed to the webmaster
vs.
Questions or comments should be directed to the webmaster(at)domain.com
My question is, are there any disadvantages to doing it as I show in the
first example? Which is better practice and why? I think I know the
answer, but I'd like to know what you all think.
TIA,
Steve
