Hi
You can call php scripts as ssi's just save the file to be included as a =
.php file and include it as a normal html page and it should be passed =
by the php code before being included.
I use this php script on all my html pages to generate a breadcrumb =
trail from the url.
<!--#include virtual=3D"includes/breadcrumb.php" -->
Best Wishes & Happy New Year

Subject: RE: script problem
Hello List!
First, THANKS to all who responded to my problem with the "next month" =
script.
I am at a loss to explain what happened, but my original script is =
working
now. Ghosts? Beats me...
But, I did get some good info from you guys...one of which was a php
statement for my document that prints the "next month". I inserted it =
into
my html, but couldn't get it to work on my existing web pages. I created =
a
test page and saved it with a "php" extension, and inserted it all by
itself and it works great. All of the pages on my site have several =
server
side includes for different functions, plus a perl counter script. I =
name
my html files with the "shtml" extension, so I'm wondering if that is =
why
the php code doesn't work on them? I know there has been discussion on =
the
list about combining SSI's, CGI, PHP, etc, but I can't find the thread =
in
my archives. If I rename the files with a php extension, will my SSI's =
and
Perl scripts continue to function?
Thanks again for all the responses, and happy HTMLing,
Michael
