Securing Guest Form infoby "sfmalo" <sfmalo(at)msn.com> |
|
Nick Ciantro's question (sometime back) re securing an order form, I think, fits in with a question I have about a form I have on a client's site. This one is a "Guest" form just asking questions and my client is nervous because, when you fill out and submit the form, up pops a message, "This form is being submitted using email. Submitting this form will reveal your email address to the recipient, and will send the form data without encrypting it for privacy." My client thinks that people are being put off by this message and not responding as she hoped they would. The form has been up for quite awhile and she is getting any emails from it. Checked it out and the form works fine (so it isn't the coding). How do I code (or what do I do) to secure this form? Suggestions? Thanks!!!
