Another day.... another question (but I think today it going to be a better
day than yesterday).... tell me when to shut up.
Actually, it's two questions - one technical, another will probably invoke
a raging argument (apologies in advance)....
1. I have a text menu within a frame. The frame also contains a background
image and various graphics. Is there an easy way to change the menu text
WITHOUT using script and without having to reload the entire frame ?
2. The site I'm building is a "modern" non-commercial sci-fi magazine.
Based on this, how much effort do you think I should invest in making it
backward compatible (non-Java, non-frames, etc) ? You'd think the readers
of a sci-fi magazine might have the latest browsers !?!! Or is the issue
that they might be trying to read it on some palm-sized Internet device
which doesn't support Java (which would be appropriate for the readership).
I just don't want to spend effort on something which is only going to
affect 0.1% of people (...a completely made up statistic. But I'm sure
somebody has the real one !).
Many thanks,
David Artiss.
