Free server for testing scripts

Hello
I am looking for a list of free providers out there who offer web space that
would allow me to test my scripts.

I currenlty use a small server in my home office, but I mostly write for
linux, since that is what I am familiar with.

I have a client who is interested in using on of my scripts for his windows
server and don't have one of those.

also does any one know of any free providers that allow php
