Re: Tables in Netscape 6.0

Thanks to all who shared input on the table mystery  a few days ago. When I
took the DTD out of the document, the images lined up nicely. I did not have
much time to look into the alternate DTD provided in the article a couple of
you mentioned.  I finaly opted for leaving the DTD in the document and using
absolute positioning. That solved the Netscape 6 problem. Eliminating spaces
between the tags in the table took care of Netscape 4.0, though this brower
pretty much ignores the linked style sheet. Overall, I certainly picked up
some very useful tidbits of information that will most certainly come in
handy in the future.
