Forgive me if this is double-posted. The list-owner has requested I change
some e-mail client settings which the server didn't like.

I'm trying getting into JavaScripts on a solid basis, but have a problem
already.
Am I correct that a .js file can be external to the HTML file and that the
.js file should be refereed to in the <HEAD> of the HTML document?
Something like this:
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.2" SRC="my_big.js"</SCRIPT>
Questions:
1) Does there need to be a separate reference for EACH .js file, or can they
all be lumped together somehow?
2) Is the method the same for NN as well as IE?
3) Do the .js files need to be in the VERY SAME folder as the calling HTML
document? Will a path statement in <SRC= > work if the Script is in another
folder (like an IMG SRC=path statement)?
Any other pertinent discussion will be appreciated.
TIA!
