Password Protect

Hello.......

I've found what I think is a good password protect applet, to make a
particular page of my website accessible by only approved persons. Now, I
have a question as to how to install it. Do I put the applet on the page I
want to make secure, or do I need to make a separate page that the viewer
has to go to first?
