In response to Brian Bonini:

I don't understand how I could be any more "humble" than to ask if anyone
out there who has experience with Network Solutions could help me figure out
how to fill out their form. I also stated that "I have read the
instructions over and
>over, and can't seem to find where I'm going wrong." (Note: I said where
I'M going wrong.) Not humble enough????

As far as following their directions go, the only information I was given
was to respond to line 1a with Yes or No. It never stated that I had to
insert my answer after the colon. That would have saved me a lot of trouble
had I known. Since I answered line 0a with "Mail-From" inserted before the
colon, it didn't become obvious to me that on line 1a I had to enter my
response in a different place. I never got any response stating that I had
filled out line 0a incorrectly.

As far as the rest of my headaches with Network Solutions go, you must have
read about the multiple attempts that were made over the phone to straighten
out the bill of our .com, .net, and .org domain names. Every time my
accounting person was assured it would be taken care of, about two weeks
later we got another notice that we were going to lose our registrations for
non-payment. In the end, we received a refund check we weren't entitled to,
which put us back on the phone trying to straighten that out. You wouldn't
like that kind of service from your power company, and you are lucky if you
haven't had to encounter that from Network Solutions.

I don't understand why a mailing group for html basics has to have some
members who slap the newcomers around. Attitudes like yours discourage
people from asking questions. I have rarely posted any of my problems to
this list, because I have seen some condescending, superior responses out
there. There are, however, many who respond in a professional, helpful
manner, and you can be assured that it hasn't gone unnoticed.
