Using the KISS principle, just use the OCR function--the [abc] icon--in an
Acrobat Reader. Then "highlight" the text you wish to copy and copy and
paste into the program you wish.
If you drop it into Canvas, Word, WordPad or MS Publisher, (among others),
you can select the text and choose "Save Selection As". Then pick the type
of file you want from the drop down list.
If you don't happen to have the reader or the full Acrobat, you can open the
PDF file in Canvas or most other publishing programs and then save it any
way you want.
