Domain pointers

Unusual thing just happened to me.  On one of my client sites, I change the
site colors every season which I have just done.  This particular site has
several other domain names pointing to it.  They all look fine on my
computers and reflect the new colors.   However, my client just called me to
say that one of the domain pointer names is still showing some of the old
colors.  Yet he is seeing the new colors on the main domain.  I am
perplexed; how is this possible?  He said he has cleaned out his cached
pages and refreshed his screen but is still getting old colors on the domain
pointer.
