I also work with a local print shop and at their shop, Microsoft Word is
often berated for similar reasons. You would be amazed at those who still:
. Double space
. Use Tabs to "center" a title
. Place or embed a picture without enclosing the graphics file
. Spend hours with custom formatting and then insist the
printer use a different font and/or point size when he "pulls"
the file into Quark Express, etc.
. And of course, insist on a font the printer does not have
And the list goes on.
