Pull the name once they start messing up badly. Until then: Site Design by The Web Center (linked) Site Maintenance by Joe Blow (Email link) ...Darrell ----- Original Message ----- From: Joyce Fetterman Hi Jesse, I've only designed for my company, so I have no advice based on experience! But if I may... First, a question: If you designed the site, I figure your name will be on it, and you may want to use it for referral purposes. But if someone else makes updates, does your name stay on there as designer? And what if the person doing the maintenance messes up the site; do you want your name attached to it any longer? How long does your name stay associated with the site? Possible solution: When you bid on the next job, couldn't you specify that your price includes the exclusive rights to perform any required maintenance for a specified period based on whatever rate you negotiate?
