Hello Stephen,

I advise you to learn as soon as you can XHTML 1.1 and CSS  together in the
corect way,  separating  presentation from structure.  That is really not
easy.. but
necessary when the semantic web, an extension of the present web will be
reality. That is based on XML-languages. XHTML is also a XML version.and can
be used in combination with RDF, the Resource Description Framework .
Also SQL and PHP are very important
The W3C will bring a version of XHTML combined with PHP..  Finally I will
learn Java Script and Perl. But start with XHTML and CSS, then you are very
well prepared for future applications. for the web..

I use Homesite for coding a site..after using fo more as a year only
notepad.. .
