JavaScript question

First, I'd like to thank all who responded to my earlier inquiry regarding
calendars, especially Rick, Laura, Tony, Susan, and Cptn' Fuzzy. If I missed
anyone
who replyed, know that I thank you also.

Now, I have another questions for all you JavaScript gurus. I have a site
that wants a scrolling messege that runs vertically (top to bottom) and can
be located in a specific spot in the site. Can this be done (Ah, the
challange!)?

I am a VERY newbee to JavaScript so please be gentle : )>
