the table isn't your problem :-) You have select boxes that will stretch to
accommodate the longest line (regardless of the size of your table or the
size of your page), which is what each of them is doing and why they are all
different lengths....you also have each value in the select box with the
attribute of SELECTED and it finally gets to the last one and chooses the
last as selected instead of the first which I believe you intended. Only
one value should be selected.
I have never seen the contents of a selectbox "wrap", and even at 1024x768
the page scrolls right.
You my have to consider another way to display the choices, like having each
printed out with option boxes, since right now you could technically chose a
verse from each category instead of only choicing one line for each
engraving. This would let you send the value of the option box in the form,
while allowing the visitor to read all the choices and control the width of
the page, although it will increase the length of the page unless you offer
the list of categories to select from before displaying them. It's probably
too early for a good solid suggestion on a better layout. But I hope that
answers your original question/problem.
