Need bullets closer to header

Hi All!
Im taking a class at HWG on web design and one thing we are asked to do is
to keep our headers close to their text.  This is easily done with breaks
instead of <P> but how do I accomplish this when the text is a bulleted
list?  It acts like a blockquote, indenting and dropping the bullets down
and away. Any way to counter this? I am using a stylesheet.

Any ideas?
