Hi all,
I have searched the archives and found a wealth of information on why you
should not use sound, but I will not get paid by this client unless her
music is there. I have lobbied and "educated" and the best progress I have
been able to gain is to have a chance to turn it off - she will not even
consider visitors having the option to start it. So, please no debates on
this issue ... if I want my pay, the site plays music. Period!!!!
Unfortunately, I found the perfect music for her, and wouldn't you know it,
got full permission to use it. What were the odds? *s*
Now ...
What is the best way to have music loaded automatically and play the whole
time someone is on the site. I would like a tiny little floating console
(best) or spot on each page for people to turn it off when desires. I have
seen this on a page, although that page offered the option to turn on or
off. Unfortunately, I do not have that page marked to go back and see how
they did it.
I try to keep my pages relatively intact for version 3 browsers, but will
sacrifice in this case to get solid sound control. The clip is in midi
format, but I have some other options.
A tutorial would be great - code is fine too. I know little about sound, but
rarely use it.
Thanks a lot,
Wendy
