There IS some confusion here. Kass probably wants to know how to make CSS
that will work with todays browsers. The advice I gave about TopStyle is
very correct. It will easily create usable CSS that just happens to also be
valid.
Her question was not really about HTML standards, it was about usable CSS.
We all know here that CSS has been poorly supported for years as has been
discussed here too often. I purposely tried to tap dance around that one in
the hopes we would not end up talking about standards again for another 50
messages.
As a member of WSP (besides HWG) I fully support standards to the point of
militancy, but I get tired of hearing about it all the time. I didn't mean
to start a war about it. I also hope we didn't scare Kass off.
