Styles and Netscapeby "Anthony Romano" <datachem(at)shadow.net> |

Hi: I have the following code in an html file: <style type="text/css"> <!-- A.:link {text-decoration: none; color: #ffffff} A.:visited {text-decoration: none; color: #00ff00} A.:active {text-decoration: underline; color: #00ff00} A.:hover {text-decoration: underline; color: #ffff00} --> </style> When I view it in MSIE the links behave as in the instructions. However when viewed with Netscape 4.6 it doesn't. The colors don't change or form an underline when the mouse is on the links. The links do send you to the correct url when clicked on. I thought that Netscape 4 and higher browsers were able to carry out these instructions. The same thing happens when I view other files with similar coding. I checked the browser preferences and enable style sheets is checked. Is there another adjustment that I should make to the netscape browser? Thanks. Anthony Romano "Justice through Science"
