Hi Bjorn
Te site displays "fine" in NN4.77. But the gaps do appear in NN6. Is that
the browser that's causing trouble for you?
I have the same trouble with a site I did for one of my clients, i.e.
www.aromaterra.com. Perfect alignment in IE4 and 5, Opera 4 and 5, even NN4
but gaps in NN6.1
Larry, who also contributes to hwg basics, told me that NN6 has two modes.
Compatibility and Quirks. Still have to read up on that (to me quirks means
it has bugs). Take the URI out of the doctype (temporarily) and see if the
problem persists... I.E. Drop the "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"
Larry, if you're there, can you assist? Sounds like a similar problem to
the one you helped me with.
Bert
